Vetiver Hedgerows for Soil and Water Conservation in Zimbabwe

The photo (by John Champagne of NSW, Australia) shows  one of many vetiver hedgerows in the   village of Chikukwa, Zimbabwe where a community of some 8000 people are practicing permaculture.  Similar use of vetiver is fairly widespread in Malawi.  More on the Zimbabwe vetiver can be found at Vetiver - One Grass Revolution
