Here are a couple of Google Earth images of Vetiver hedgerows in western Ethiopia near Mettu.
One (with red arrows only) shows vetiver on upland farms - there are literally 1000s of Km of these in this area. The second is of Wichi wetlands. All the water bodies have been restored due VS reducing rain water runoff and the subsequent recharge of the groundwater table.
