A question from Paulo Rogerio in Brazil - Can Vetiver if planted around the foundations of a house that suffers from serious damp problems be used to help dry the foundation? Anybody have an experience in this area??

Hi Dick, I don't know about protection against damp, but there is some anecdotal evidence that vetiver can mitigate against susidance and cracking of walls as it effectively provides, when mature, a second foundation
