The  pictorial records illustrate the works carried out in Hong Kong by Dr P. K. Yoon of Malaysia in 2001for the regreening and stabilization of failing and very steep gunnited highway cut slopes.  The record comprises some 20 detailed images.

Dr. Yoon extensive R&D on Vetiver grass laid the foundation for its bioengineering applications around the world today. This work basic research on Vetiver morphology, physiology and propagation, resulted in Dr Yoon being awarded the first of the King of Thailand and World Bank Vetiver Awards.

His contribution is fundamental to the success of the Vetiver System today.  We wish to formally recognize Dr. Yoon for this very important work. Dr Yoon lives and works from Salangor, Kuala Lumpa, Malaysia.
